The Jones High School Historical Society, Inc. was founded to preserve the rich legacy of our students, faculty, and administrators by creating a permanent archive of memorabilia, music, and works by and about our alumni.

Our Roots

Jones High School traces its origin to 1895, evolving through names and leadership from Johnson Academy to its present home on Rio Grande Avenue. It stands as a symbol of academic excellence and cultural pride for generations of students.
